Privacy policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
This policy explains what data Bulk Links (the "app"), provided by Steadyfield ("we"), handles when installed on an Atlassian Jira Cloud site.
Summary
Bulk Links runs entirely on Atlassian Forge. It does not send any data outside Atlassian's infrastructure, and we cannot see your Jira data.
What the app reads
- The issues matched by the searches you run in the app: their ids, keys and links.
- Your site's issue link types and whether issue linking is switched on.
What the app stores
- In Forge app storage on Atlassian's platform, for each run: your Atlassian account id (so only you see your runs), the search you ran, and the links it added, changed or removed (link ids, link type ids, and the ids and keys of the linked issues), so the run can be undone.
- For undo across several runs: which link id replaced which.
The app stores no names, email addresses, summaries, descriptions or comments. Issue links themselves are stored by Jira, as with links you make by hand.
Where data is processed
All processing and storage happens within Atlassian Forge, in the region where your Jira site's data is hosted. The app makes no external network requests.
When the app hits an error, Atlassian records it in the app's logs. We can only read logs from your site if a Jira admin allows log access in the app's settings, and the app never logs issue content.
Retention and deletion
Runs are deleted 30 days after they start, and previews that weren't run after one day. When the app is uninstalled, Atlassian deletes its storage permanently within 28 days. Links the app made stay in Jira until someone removes them.
Data residency
The app supports Atlassian's data residency. In scope is the app's Forge storage described above. Nothing is stored outside Atlassian.
Third parties
We use no third-party processors for app data. Atlassian processes data as described in its own privacy policy.
